Nagai

Nagai station, Subway Midousuji line.

Nagai park, my favorite place to walk. I used to walk a lot whenever I felt doing so.

This is a flat where I lived 11 years ago. The 3rd floor on the left were mine.

This is a rental DVD (Video-11years ago) shop where I worked then. I was very surprised that nothing inside had been changed since then!

Nagai town is an important place for me. All experience I had was still valuable to me, and I need to recall them sometimes and somehow in order not to forget my innocence mind, hope and dream.

There's a will, There's a way...

I really like this phrase.

There is a will, There is a way...

In the new statement, it says in Matthew 7:13-14

"Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it"

A strong will in the past led me here. It didn't matter to me no matter how long it would have taken. There have always been a way ahead of me.

Dove

I was having a small lunch sitting on a bench in the middle of the downtown Umeda, Osaka, and enjoyed feeding sparrows and doves. It was amusing to see them compete with each other and eat bread I scattered.

One dove suddendly popped onto a bench. I immidiately noticed that one of her legs was amputated. She walked with a limp until she found a place to sit next to me. I stared at her and observed her movement.

I was wondering if she could grab still a limb of trees only with one legs, if she found it easier to sit on the bench more relaxed than on a limb trying hard to stay still, and if she was feeling mortified looking at her friends.....

I'm sure that she never does have any kind of those thoughts. We, only humans think in that way. She was just doing what she had to do at the moment of her life.

Looking at her, I felt a sort of awe and respect to her. With her unsteady shaky moves of her neck, she was definetely looking at one direction, LIFE.

Preparation

It must be the first preparation for me to get a new schedule book for the next year. I suddenly came up with the idea, and bought one today.

Since my life is quite simle and is not confined with time to time schedules, I bought a very simeple one to write down only about my monthly job assignments and meeting appointments with friends. Very simple, eh!?

The left one is for 2009, and this year which was very practical to use, but a bit bulkly to put it in my bag. And so the new one left is better to fit in it. The color is GOLD! Classy, isn't it?
