Station

I'm standing at the platform 3 for Osaka. The opposite platform 2 for Kobe. This is Tachibana station which I've been using since I was a kid.

Where I live is called Amagasaki, and the sation is located in the town of Tachibana, Amagasaki. Only local trains stop, but many passengers get on and off especially during rush hours. The station is almost same as what it was 30 yeas ago as far as I can recall my memory of the outlook.

I was suddenly tempted to take a photo feeling a nostalgic emotion.

Arrogance

Two trees in the garden of a church near my place had been chopped off during maybe early Winter time. I was always wondering if it had been completely dead or not.... everytime I see it passing by.

The priest of the church must have chopped them off for a reason, but look at the shape!!! He could have done something else in a better way. It looks like he doesn't admire the life of this tree at all. Arrogance of Human's toward Nature to conquer....

A few weeks ago, I noticed that 2 new branches were growing from this chopped off tree. And now in Spring, green leaves come out for a new life. I'm glad that they are still alive.

I wonder if the priest will deliver a preach about the God to the followers without seeing the God in the leaves......

Hands

I saw two hands which made me soooooo happy yesterday and today.

1. A lady who has a difficulty in sight and her boyfriend

One day, I saw a lady who seemed to walk unstably with a white stick near my station. I ealily noticed that she must have lost her sight recently. Anyway, I felt something very positive energy from her which makes me happy and try to give her a hand. And so I did.

After politely showing her gratitude to me, she asked me to take her to a tickt office. I was willing to take her to the platform at the end, but she said, to the ticket office is o.k. So I led her there, and gave her some information about the location in the ticket office. Then I said good-bye.

Yesterday, I went to Karaoke by myself sang 30 min. to refresh my energy as usual. At the casher, I saw a guy leading his girl friend with his hand. The girl was her whom I helped the other day. She seemed so clumsy even to take some money out of her walet, but her boyfriend gently gave her a hand.

I was just happy that she had this guy.

2. A school boy & a young bule shirt guy

In Japan, elementary school boys & girls, mostly for praivate schools, must commute to get to their school like adults do to their office. Can you believe that?

Anyway, I saw a small young boy with his shcool bag on his back in a train during the time of rush hour. He seemed uncomfortable in the crowded train standing still among many commuters. At the next stop, only few got off, but more got on the train. This poor boy lost a balance somehow, but managed to stand still.

When I saw the boy loosing his balance, a hand reached out from his back. It was from a young blue shirt guy. The guy must have tried to help the boy not to loose the balnce. Since the boy managed so, the guy pulled his hand off quickly, but it was definetly a big hand. A BIIIIIG gentle hand indeed.

I just wanna share this stories with you. You know, there are soooooooo many things which make us pissed off, but things which make us happy and joyful does exist only if we are open and relaxed to see it.

That much!?

I've been visitting a lot Italy lately, and just come back from Rome once again last Tuesday.

The 4th of April was the Easter which celebrates the day of Jesus' recovery from the excusion. The truth is unknown, but the holy bible says so for neary 2000 years. I wonder how many people believe the story in this modern era. Anyway, the atomsphere was there during my visit.

On that Easter day, my group was quing to enter St. Peter's church. Not a long que as we expected, but many people was quing. So We followed the end. As we got closer to the security check, several people tried to cut the line. A young couple, a family, a religiou group..... again and again. Our guide got mad, and said to some of them in Italian,

"Go que from the end. Are you gonna be insane in front of the holy Catholic church?"

She said something like that.

Some accepted, but some ignored....

I wonder why those who ignored her words and cut the line, once they entered the curch, they were never reluctant to make a holy cross on their hands like they never commit a sin.

Their beliefs are maybe THAT MUCH which are always easy to bend on their needs.

I don't understand at all........
