Harmony with the universe

I have no idea what my situation is at this moment, and what it is gonna be later, but I just need to trust my fatum.

"Life is not merely a series of meaningless accidents or coincedences, but rather it's a tapestry of events that culminate in an exquisite, sublime plan."

"If we are in harmony with the universe....., we must possese a powerful fatih in what the ancients used to call fatum."

"What we currently refer to as Destiny"

Blue rose

I've never seen such a beautiful rose, Blue Rose. Have you???

I happened to find one in a flower shop, but they were already sold out. Blue rose seems to be a fad lately, and the price is 3000 yen, or $30 for ONE PIECE. Wow------!

But Can you imagine how beautiful and elegant our rooms are gonna be with this Blue Rose? And even ONE PIECE.

I'd like to order one after coming back from the next assignment.

The name of this flower is "Applause".

The meaning is "Dreams come true".

Same as us

A Cold day, but with warm Sun shine in the morning.

They must be wandering between dreams and realities.

Sleeping in the air.

"Sorry, guys! I know that it is very rude to intrude your privacy of your sound sleep, but I just couldn't stop pressing the button of my camera."

My tour group must have woken up at 3 to head for the airport, and the rest on this flight also, I guess.

Anyway, a nice pic!?

Fortune telling for 2010

This is a photo of a Shrine near my place, "Susanoo-shrine" which is a "ujigami-shrine" (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ujigami) in my town.

Compared to Christianity, Muslim or other religions which belive in only One God, there are " Yaorozu no Kami " in Japan which means 8 million Gods. Of couse, the 8 million is NOT the exact number of the Gods in Japan, but it is a metaphor of the diversity of the Japanese Gods.

When the New year comes, we Japananese visit Shrines to show our gratitudes, and to ask for further supports by the Gods. We don't declare much that we belong to religions such as Shinto, or Buddism, but our society, cultual values, behaviors.... are very much infulenced by Shintoism (also Buddism ). That's why we visit them.

Anyway, we always want a good year, but it is uncertain yet. But there is a way to tell if the year is gonna be good, or bad. The God tells us a tip through "Omikuji"(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Omikuji). And I tried one there.

Well, well well....

This year is gonna be...........

"DAIKICHI"(Great blessing)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I haven't had it for years and years, and finally!!!!

Of couse, if I can make the year good or bad, it depends on my efforts, but it is surely a good sign.

Where is the quietness in Shogatsu?

2 day to go for my first assignment in 2010. I had to prepare some for the next tour. I started it, but I still felt not well because of the cold I'd got a few days ago.

I should've kept staying in bed to rest my body, but I needed a book for the preparation. And so I went out to Umeda. Well, I was very surprised not only that the book shop opened even from the 2 day of the New Year, but also that there were sooooo many people in the town here and there. Most of them were holding "Fukubukuro" (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fukubukuro).

The traditional Japanese "Shogatsu" (1/Jan-3/Jan) days should be very very quiet being away from job or society and staying joyfully with family, but people are changing years by years. They don't seem to be able to stay in quietness like our recent hectic life goes.

I miss my old days which was acctually sooo boring to kids, but what I expect now seems to have been changed from my childhood.
